Intuition: The New Intelligence. How do you listen to your inner voice when old stories shift and familiar paradigms dissolve? This is the central theme of Episode 36 of Unbox The Podcast. In this episode, I explain why intuition is more than just a feeling. It is a new form of intelligence — one that can guide you when logic, roles, or external labels no longer serve.

The power of your inner voice

For many of us, identity is shaped by labels: job titles, family roles, or responsibilities we carry. But what happens when those labels fall away? The real you is still here, yet it can feel unsettling to navigate life without the familiar structures. This is when your intuition, what I call intuitive intelligence, becomes essential.

Intuitive intelligence anchors you when reason falls short. It gives you clarity when answers are not obvious and helps you step into the real you. It is your inner compass, your guiding star, that has always been present.

What is intuitive intelligence?

We usually define intelligence in terms of logic, memory, or analysis. But intuition is a different kind of knowing. It is the quiet whisper that offers direction when information is incomplete or the situation feels uncertain.

Unlike reaction or fear, intuitive intelligence emerges from your deeper self. It helps you pause, step back, and see the bigger picture.

Practical signs that intuition is guiding you include:

  • Decision-making feels simpler, even when life isn’t.
  • You trust clarity will come rather than panicking when answers are not immediate.
  • Old triggers lose their power.
  • You feel anchored in your values instead of external approval.

These everyday signals show that intuitive intelligence is active and reliable.

Putting the BEMA™ methodology into practice

One of the ways I help clients strengthen their intuition is through the Four Dimensions of Change — my BEMA™ Methodology: Body, Emotions, Mind, and Accountability.

  • Body: Notice whether a choice feels light or heavy; your body often recognises alignment first.
  • Emotions: See your feelings as signposts pointing to what matters rather than judging them.
  • Mind: Clarity often comes when you stop over-analysing and give space for intuition to rise.
  • Accountability: Intuition becomes transformation only when you act on it.

This framework makes intuition practical and grounded, turning it into a tool for real change.

Real-life stories

During the Kuwait invasion, airports, borders, and embassies were closed. Against all logic, I felt a persistent inner voice urging me to go to London. I didn’t know why or how, yet once I listened, the path unfolded.

I also worked with a client who had built his identity around his job title. When that role ended, he felt lost. Through reconnecting with his values and listening to his inner voice, he found clarity and began making bold, aligned decisions.

These stories show how intuition guides us both in extraordinary circumstances and in everyday life.

Why intuition matters now

We live in a time of constant change. Old paradigms dissolve quickly, leaving many people feeling unanchored. This is why intuition is not a luxury — it is a new intelligence we need to navigate uncertainty, make clear choices, and remain connected to our real selves.

The more you acknowledge your guiding star, the more you grow into who you are becoming. That is where empowerment lies: not in clinging to old roles, but in listening within and allowing the new to unfold.
