Your next move spring from your intuition!
Trusting Your Intuition & Inner Guidance
Have you ever had a gut feeling that turned out to be right—but you ignored it? Or heard an inner whisper nudging you, but brushed it off as random?
You’re not alone. Most of us are taught to trust logic and dismiss intuition. But the truth is, your intuition is your soul’s compass, and your inner guidance is the path it lights up.
Unbox The Podcast. Rewrite Your Story. Reclaim Your Power.
This week on Unbox The Podcast, we go deeper into what it really means to reconnect with the real you by understanding the difference between intuition and inner guidance, and why both are essential in becoming who you’re meant to be, The Real You.
What’s the Difference Between Intuition and Inner Guidance?
Here’s the simple truth: Intuition is the whisper. Inner guidance is what you do with it.
Intuition is your built-in knowing. It’s fast, often wordless, and always honest. It shows up as:
- A physical sensation in your body
- A flash of insight or a recurring dream
- A symbol, image or sudden knowing that doesn’t come from “thinking”
It’s creative. Visual. Felt. It comes from your higher self or higher mind. And it’s always on—we just drown it out with noise, stress, or doubt.
Inner guidance, on the other hand, is your response. It’s how you interpret and apply what your intuition is showing you. It involves:
- Reflection and self-awareness
- Discernment: “Is this fear, or is this truth?”
- Courage to act, even without proof
Mastery Begins With Observation
After you’ve dropped the old story, like we explored in Episode 23, you’re left in the in-between. This space is fertile. It’s where the real you begins to emerge.
But to meet them, you must become the observer.
When you stop reacting, you start seeing.
You start spotting patterns. Noticing recurring signs.
You hear the same message again and again, from dreams, strangers, songs, books.
That’s not random. That’s your inner guidance repeating itself until it lands.
One listener wrote to me after trying this for a week. She said, “Once I stopped analysing everything and just listened, I realised I’d known all along, I just didn’t want to trust myself.”
That’s the shift.
Trusting What Arises
So, how do you begin? Try this journaling prompt:
“What is one message I’ve been ignoring?”
“What small action can I take to honour it?”
Don’t overthink. Let the words flow.
And tune into your body – your gut, your breath, your energy. That’s where your truth lives. That’s where your answers begin.
Real Examples, Real Change
One client of mine, a top-tier consultant, realised she was drained because she was playing the role of “the reliable one.” Her intuition had been nudging her for months with tension headaches and random tears.
Her inner guidance became clear when she finally allowed herself to rest, and in that stillness, she saw a new path emerge teaching emotional resilience, not just business strategy.
Another woman followed her nudges from daily joy. She tracked what made her smile—gardening, baking, simple moments of peace. She didn’t have a “plan,” but her new career grew from there. It’s not about logic. It’s about alignment.
Your Inner Compass Already Knows
This is the essence of Unbox The Real You, my BEMA™ methodology of Body, Emotions, Mind, and Accountability.
- Your Body tells the truth first.
- Your Emotions show what needs attention.
- Your Mind creates the story.
- And Accountability to action is what creates real change.
Trusting your intuition is not about being “woo.” It’s about tuning back into the original guidance system you were born with. You’re naturally intuitive. You’ve just been taught to ignore it.
